Just a critique, man. No hate here and no reason to apologize. It would just make your opinion more credible to get things down beforehand. Just my personal opinion.
And I've had a different experience. The single shot weapons make the game harder and no one weapon rules the others. The BR in Halo 2 and 3 was too versatile making all the other weapons obsolete (minus power weapons). The AA's add some variance to the game play and also all have counters against them (s...
Haha. Reach is harder than Halo 3 was. No more super powerful BR that was good at every range. Reticle bloom effect makes you time your shots to get a well aimed head shot to finish someone off. The armor abilities all have counters.
It's so "noob" friendly and easy that dude missed 90% of his shots. You also gotta at least know the name of the weapon you're describing. It makes it seem like you haven't played enough to know what you're talking abou...
Boooo! (at the corny joke).
Come onnn, you know it was corny.
And you got 2 disagrees for the truth. (1 agrre from me).
This place really is a PS3 playground now. I don't care what it was before (cause I wasn't around), but it's nearly impossible to have decent discussion in the Xbox section without getting 20+ phantom disagrees even if all you say is that you're excited for something. It's ridiculous.
I have both consoles and play both quite a bit. They both have their ups and downs. Xbox has DVD9 ...
MS would also have to release bigger HDD'd at a much cheaper cost. Or at least a 320-500GB drive standard.
I do like that idea though and that's a possibility, I would imagine.
Hell, I'd take a new console in 2011. Bring it on.
The 1 year warranty would not worry me even after the RROD fiasco. MS showed they are willing to up the warranty in the event of a huge problem. To be safe, I may take the warranty from the place I bought it from, but I'd likely do that anyway.
I agree 100% gcolley.
The crew that makes Skate are really some awesome guys. It's nice to see they've given everyone what they wanted in the create-a-park. They do a great job listening to their fans.
Whoa! I hit a Warthog with 2 plasmas and that damn thing barely had a scratch on it. That's very odd.
Holy hell I agree with you. It might be the first time.
Don't you mean rising UN-employment rate? Oh and any unemployment rate you hear, you can up that percent a little. They don't account for those that don't get unemployment.
Inferno is right. There are more pressing issues than worrying about some dumb kids who spend too much time playing games and not studying. Those same people would find something else to occupy their time if games weren't around.
Nice. I'm going to have to at least rent it (not enough replay value to buy it). Or is there?
All reviews I've seen have been around the 8-8.5 range. I think it's worth it because the story seems to be amazing. There seems to be other issues but the good seem to outweigh the bad.
Activision can't turn Bungie into anything. Bungie has control of what games they make. Activision didn't buy Bungie. They simple fund Bungie, publish their games, and obviously profit off of them. That's it.
stlPoison said it with that quote from Jason Jones (the co-founder of Bungie). Bungie let Activision know, and also put in the contract, that Activision leave them alone and let them do their thing. They want the funding and all that comes with it, but they're still independent.
Now that wouldn't be pointless, but the fact that they did it on a video that can't tell them anything is what's pointless. They admitted that nothing they find can be substantiated because it wasn't a loss-less direct capture.
Well that was a pointless analysis. I know they ran the clip through just for the fun of it, but it obviously didn't tell them anything worth making an article for. It was a lot of information with a, "but this is probably wrong because it isn't as good as a regular capture".
They should've waited the week or so and just done a normal analysis. Hopefully they will because they're usually very interesting.
I find it funny that all the stuff he thought made Halo Reach a "proper FPS" were the things that the other Halo games did so well and made the game interesting to me. The team work, tactics and overall variety made it great.
Just another person that only ever played slayer or never bothered to try and get into the story who jumped to conclusions. To the author I say, welcome to the Halo we've been playing for 10 years. It's always been that good.
It's still 16. They haven't upped the amount of people. Not really disappointed by that though. It works.
Sorry, but I can't blame the site. It's on you if you can't help but acting like a child.
And it's good to hear there's no real differences. Now my decision is down to exclusive content or the chance that a few friends on Xbox will get the game.
